Curieux is the University of Canberra's independent student magazine. I became editor of Curieux in 2020, hoping to revive the magazine after a long dormant period. Along with a website where we publish breaking news stories and student contributions, I spearheaded the successful relaunch of Curieux's print magazines to showcase student work.
THE SEX & HEALTH EDITION

The Sex & Health Edition is an old Curieuix tradition from the '80s and '90s. In reviving Curieux for the 21st century, it was important that its history be celebrated and traditions continued.Â
This edition gave a voice to students who have been calling for UC to reform its policies on sexual assault and harassment. We worked closely with the administration on this, and thanks to the voices we were able to highlight, UC is re-focusing on these important issues.
